Most crypto footprint charts read a single exchange. XrayCharts merges Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate and Bitget into one footprint, delta and CVD, so you see the whole market instead of a third of it. 8 perp markets, live and historical. Free to open, no account.
Hi everyone,
I trade crypto perpetuals. For a long time I read order flow off Binance and assumed I was seeing the market.
Order flow charts show you every individual trade at every price, so you can see where buyers and sellers actually fought instead of just where price ended up. The catch is that almost every tool builds that picture from a single exchange.
Binance is roughly a third of perpetual volume. The other two thirds prints on Bybit, OKX, Gate and Bitget, and none of it was on my chart. Selling that looked absorbed on Binance had been eaten straight through elsewhere. On more candles than I was comfortable with, adding the other venues reversed the read completely.
So I built XrayCharts. It merges all five venues into one footprint, one delta, one CVD.
The hard part was never the charting, it was the merging. Every venue has different contract sizes, different tick data, clocks that disagree by seconds, and rate limits that all behave differently. Getting five live feeds onto one honest price and volume scale, and keeping them there through outages and volume spikes, took most of the build. It ingests every trade from all five continuously, across 8 perpetual markets.
Happy to answer anything, especially about the data pipeline.
