I wanted something that feels modern but stays true to what makes mailing lists great: durable, protocol-native, and fully under your control. xMailman is a one-binary, self-hosted mailing list manager: - Single static Go binary + embedded SvelteKit UI + SQLite — no separate DB, Redis, or frontend server - Completely passwordless (magic-link login) - Works with your existing MTA over LMTP (Postfix & Exim tested) - Double opt-in, digests, VERP bounce tracking, held-message moderation, searchable archives, CSV import/export, audit trail… - Drop it on a VPS or run the Docker image and you’re live It’s fully open source (MIT) and still pre-1.0, so I’m actively looking for feedback from people who actually run mailing lists.
