Create WordPress sites automatically — databases, local domains (like myproject.wp) and files are configured for you. I'm Andrii, creator of WPronto.
I built WPronto because I was tired of wasting time on environment setup. Every time I needed to test a WordPress idea, I had to fight with XAMPP configs or wait for Docker to boot.
So I created WPronto — a native Windows app that works as a local WordPress server. Press Start (or Ctrl+S) and it launches Nginx, PHP and MariaDB. Create a project and everything is configured automatically: database, local domain like `myproject.wp`, and WordPress files.
It's completely free, open source (MIT), and has no telemetry or bloated control panels.

Quick tips for those trying WPronto today:
PHP version — you can switch between PHP 8.3 and 8.5 anytime directly from the dropdown menu in the interface. No config files, no restart needed.
Learning mode — want to learn or test plain PHP without WordPress? Just create a new project named "php" and WPronto automatically switches to learning mode. Perfect for practicing PHP or running custom scripts.
One-click backup — saves both files + database.
If port 80 is busy (Skype, IIS, etc.), WPronto auto-switches to port 8080.
