Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built WorkConnect because I kept noticing the same problem from both sides: homeowners frustrated at paying booking fees or commissions just to find a plumber, and tradespeople frustrated that platforms take a cut of every job they already worked hard for. So WorkConnect just... doesn't do that. It's a free, non-profit platform — no commission, no lead fees, no paid tiers. Tradespeople list their trade, experience, and rates for free. Hirers browse and hire directly. Once the job's done, both sides leave a review, so trust builds up naturally over time. Money and scheduling happen directly between the two people — we're not in the middle of that at all, by design. I'm still early — building this out feature by feature, city by city, and learning a lot as I go. A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on: If you've ever hired a tradesperson (or are one yourself) — does this actually solve a real pain point for you, or am I missing something? Anything confusing or clunky in the flow — I'd rather hear it now than later.
