Words with Mia was built one language at a time: 22 languages so far, each with its own 2,500-level Word Path and a daily puzzle on local themes, with the words people actually use and the days they actually celebrate. Next to classic word search there are boards with a twist, like frozen letters, secret codes and honeycombs. Playing in a language you're learning? Every word comes with its meaning in your own language. More languages are on the way.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Levi. I'm an indie developer and I made Words with Mia on my own.
I wanted a word search that feels at home in whatever language you play it in. Not one game translated 22 times, but 22 versions that each got their own puzzles from scratch.
That goes for Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. Spanish comes in two versions, one for Spain and one for Mexico, and English even comes in four versions: one each for the US, the UK, Canada and Australia, because a pickup and a ute are not the same puzzle.
Next to classic word search there are boards with a twist: frozen letters that thaw as you find words, symbols that hide letters until you crack the code, and honeycomb boards where words run six ways.
What's in it:
A daily puzzle that follows the week: a small warm-up on Monday, a big board on Saturday, something calm on Sunday. The themes come from each country's own calendar.
The Word Path: 2,500 levels in every language.
Puzzle books, each built around one twist.
Playing in a language you're learning? Every word shows its meaning in your own language.
One more thing I'd love help with: Words with Mia supports the iPhone Duo. I don't own one, so I built and tested it on the simulator, but I've put a lot of time into it since day one. Unfold it in the middle of a level and your game just carries on. Open it flat and the screen splits into two columns, and in tabletop mode the board sits below the fold with the words above it. If you have a Duo, please tell me how it actually plays.
It's free on iOS and Android with ads. A pass removes them and unlocks the puzzle books.
If you speak two languages, try the daily in both and tell me which one feels more like home. I read and answer every comment.
