Word Notebook (Dil Defteri) is a vocabulary notebook for Android and iPhone. Save a word you met in a show, a class or a book in seconds, with several meanings, an example sentence and your phone's pronunciation. Then practise it with Flashcards, Quiz and Write; words you miss collect in My mistakes. Need a start? 1,535 ready-made A1–C2 words in English, German, French and Spanish. Free for 2 notebooks and 200 words; Pro is a one-time payment, no subscription.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Doğukan, the developer of Word Notebook (it's called Dil Defteri in Turkish). I build it in Türkiye.
Why I made it: I wanted a notebook for words that works on a phone, without a subscription.
What it does:
• Save a word in seconds, with several meanings and an optional example sentence, and keep adding the next one without closing the sheet.
• Hear words and sentences in your phone's voice.
• Practise three ways: Flashcards, Quiz and Write. Words you miss collect in My mistakes.
• 1,535 ready-made words from A1 to C2 in English, German, French and Spanish, each with an example sentence.
What it doesn't do: no review scheduling (you choose what to practise), no grammar lessons, and you need an account (email or Google; Apple on iPhone).
Pricing: free for 2 notebooks and 200 words, with ads (no banners). Pro removes the ads and the limits as a one-time payment ($9.99 / €9.99), no subscription.
It's live on Android since October 8 and on iPhone as version 2.0.
One question for you: is the free limit (2 notebooks, 200 words) enough to try it properly?
