Wishlyr helps you stop impulse buying and overspending. Start a no-buy challenge, save what you want, wait, then buy it or skip it. Block shopping apps, reflect on purchases and see what you skipped. No bank link, free on iPhone.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Kien, the maker of Wishlyr.
Most impulse buys don't feel like mistakes at checkout. They turn into buyer's remorse a week later. Wishlyr helps you stop impulse buying and overspending by giving that urge somewhere to go.
It's for anyone trying to buy less: a no-buy year, a low-buy month, a project pan, or just pushing back on overconsumption at home.
How it works:
1. Start a No Buy challenge of 7, 14 or 30 days. Go no-buy or low-buy by picking the categories you want to stop buying.
2. Want something mid-challenge? Save it to your wishlist, wait 24 hours to 30 days, then buy it or skip it.
3. Block shopping apps with Spending Shield (Pro), or ask Should I buy this? and see the price in hours of work.
4. If you do buy, note how it feels later, and check how much of your monthly budget is left.
5. See what you spent next to what you skipped, then keep your streak going into the next challenge.
Free covers 5 active wants, 7-day challenges, the Learn tools, one budget and monthly summaries. Pro adds unlimited wants, 14 and 30-day challenges, Spending Shield, multiple budgets and private iCloud sync. It runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later, and no account is needed.
One honest trade-off: Wishlyr only knows what you record. There's no bank sync, so you log purchases yourself, which for many people is the point.
A thank-you for the Product Hunt community: 1 month of Wishlyr Pro free with the code PRODUCTHUNT. That's enough to run a full 30-day challenge. Open this link on your iPhone to redeem it: https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6769705223&code=PRODUCTHUNT
The code works until October 28 if you're not on Pro yet. After the free month it renews at the normal yearly price, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
I'd love to know: what's the one thing you keep buying on impulse? Thanks for taking a look!
