I built Wipe for Reddit because I wanted a simple way to clean up my own Reddit history without trusting a random web app or chrome extension with my credentials. Most tools out there either require you to hand over your Reddit login to a third-party server or use OAuth tokens that still route through someone else's backend. That felt wrong for something this sensitive, so I built a desktop app where everything stays on your machine. I've been iterating on it for a few weeks and it's been working well for my own account.
