A good wind forecast becomes useful when it answers a personal question: when will the conditions I want line up with the hours I can get out? Wind Ready brings your spot, wind limit, direction, days and hours together, so you can spend less time checking and more time making a plan.
LIGHTER WINDS OR WIND-POWERED SESSIONS
Choose wind below a personal maximum for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing or casual boating, or above a chosen minimum for kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. Add your preferred direction and available hours. These are your preferences, not a safety rating.
FIND THE WINDOW, THEN FOLLOW YOUR PLAN
Explore opportunities up to 14 days ahead where forecast data is available. The app looks for a match across your full selected period, puts the best match first and can show shorter options if the whole period does not match. Review wind speed, gusts and direction before choosing.
Pro discovery alerts flag new matching forecast windows. Monitoring follows the particular window you select, with reminders, an opening alert when forecast conditions match and condition-change updates. Activity keeps upcoming and past monitored windows together. Share a window with a friend or add it to your calendar.
WEATHER AND TIDE CONTEXT
Additional conditions include air temperature, UV, sunrise and sunset, plus water temperature where supported and included in your access. Enable tides for a spot to see nearby predicted high and low tides, times and available heights where supported. Weather forecasts come from Open-Meteo; tide predictions come from WorldTides. Tides add planning context alongside wind; they are not a tide-based alert rule, a local-current forecast or water depth at your exact pin.
MAKE IT FIT YOUR ROUTINE
Save favourite spots, search for a place or drop a map pin without granting location permission. Choose knots, mph, km/h or m/s, Celsius or Fahrenheit, and a 12- or 24-hour clock. Quiet hours pause notifications when you choose.

Free includes one saved spot and today’s wind forecast. Pro adds multiple spots, extended planning, automatic alerts, monitoring and additional conditions. Wind Ready uses weather-model forecasts, not live wind measurements. Alerts rely on periodic forecast checks, Pro access, notification permission and internet connectivity; arrival times can vary. Forecasts change, so check official warnings and local conditions before heading out.
