Connect Widgy to Claude or ChatGPT over MCP. Say "build me an intake form" and get a live, shareable link in seconds β then let your AI read the answers as they come in. Lead qualifiers, client intake, RSVPs, research, scored forms. It's live, and it's free.

Hey Product Hunt π
Your AI is a great talker. Widgy makes it a great asker.
Here's the thing: your AI is brilliant right up until it needs information from someone who isn't you. A client brief. Event RSVPs. Lead details. User feedback. That's the moment you get yanked back to the stone age β build a form by hand, chase the link, export a CSV, paste it into the chat, apologise for the formatting. Name one part of that loop you enjoy. Exactly.
Widgy closes the loop. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT over MCP, then just say "build me an intake form." Your AI designs the form, hands you a live shareable URL, and reads the answers straight back through MCP β no CSVs, no copy-paste. Lead qualifiers, client intake, RSVPs, research, scored forms β it fits pretty much anything.
Want proof? I didn't hand-build a feedback form for this launch β I asked Widgy to make one. Here it is, live: https://app.widgy.co/q/jDKEJQGw. Tell me what you think, and I'll read every answer straight from my AI β the whole loop, closing on itself.
It's fast, it's simple, honestly a bit fun β and it's live and free today. I'd love to hear what you build first. π

How does the data flow back into the AI session for follow-ups, do I need to keep the MCP connection open or does it work after I've closed the chat?

Good question! Short answer: nope, you don't need to keep anything open π
When someone fills out your form, their answer gets saved to your Widgy account right away β it lives on our servers, not in the chat. So the chat is basically disposable.
That means you can close it, come back tomorrow or next week, start a totally fresh conversation, and just ask something like "how many responses do I have?" or "summarize what people said." As long as the Widgy connector is still switched on and you're signed in, the AI grabs the latest responses on the spot.
The only thing that needs to stay connected is the Widgy connector in your AI app's settings β but that's a one-time setup, not something you babysit.
One heads-up: the AI won't ping you when new responses come in β it only checks when you ask. So it's more "ask anytime, get the latest" than a live feed.
Hope that helps! π

Linked my Claude account and had a working intake form in under a minute, including sharing the link. Genuinely useful that the AI can read responses as they come in, not just collect them.

finally something that lets my AI actually read form responses back, not just send them out. the intake form test worked in under a minute and the shareable link was instant.

Linked it up with Claude and had a working intake form in under a minute, which was way faster than I expected. The fact that the AI can read responses back as they come in is genuinely useful.
