Hey everyone! I'm the solo developer behind WhosThatMon. I grew up watching the "Who's That Pokémon?" segment before every commercial break and always wished there was a proper game around it. Wordle showed that a simple daily puzzle with shareable results can become a genuine habit, so I built the Pokémon version. Some things I'm proud of: - The daily puzzle uses progressive clues that genuinely help you narrow it down without giving it away - Speed mode is surprisingly addictive, 60 seconds, easy Pokémon first, harder ones as you go - Cry mode is way harder than you'd think (especially Gen 5+) - Anonymous-first architecture, all state lives in localStorage with server persistence as a durability layer, no signup friction - No login, no ads, no paywall, just open and play - Runs on optional tips via Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/whosthatmon), strictly optional, no perks behind it The tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, Neon Postgres, deployed on Netlify.
