Hi everyone! I built WhereIsMyOrder to solve a simple problem: tracking parcels across India's many courier networks usually means visiting a different site for each one, often with an account required just to check status. WhereIsMyOrder lets you paste any AWB, Order ID, LRN, or India Post number, auto detects the courier from 9 supported providers, and shows live status. No login, no fees, and we do not store your tracking numbers. Would love your feedback!

Does it pull live status updates directly from each courier's API, or are you just scraping tracking pages in the background? Wondering how reliable the timestamps actually are in practice.
Hi Erva, thanks for asking! We pull live data directly from courier partner APIs — not scraping tracking pages. This means status updates sync in real-time as soon as they're updated on the courier's end, so timestamps stay accurate. Happy to share more details if you're curious about specific courier integrations!

Does it pull tracking updates directly from each courier's API, or are you hitting rate limits that force you to cache data and show stale statuses?
Yes, the data comes directly from each courier's API. I've also added rate limiting on my side to keep things stable and avoid hitting any courier's limits, so you're seeing live data without stale caching issues.

How does it pull real-time status updates from all those couriers without each one providing an official API, and is there any rate limit I should know about if I check AWBs in bulk?

@ymet_k37866 Great question! Currently we're focused on single order journey tracking — showing the full status history for one AWB at a time. Bulk AWB checking/tracking is on our roadmap and we'll be adding it soon, along with rate limit details once that's live.
For courier integration — happy to share more if you're curious, but for now single-order tracking is where we've put our focus to keep it reliable.

How often do you refresh tracking data, like is it near real-time or does it depend on each courier's API delays?

@kbras23h Good question! We refresh tracking data in near real-time — as soon as the courier updates the status on their end, it reflects on our side too. That said, the exact speed can vary slightly depending on how frequently each individual courier updates their own systems, so it's near real-time rather than instant for every single courier.
