WebMonitor is an AI-powered website change detector. Instead of configuring CSS selectors or complex rules, just describe what you want to track in plain English: π "Alert me when this product drops below $200" π¦ "Notify me when this item is back in stock" πΌ "Tell me when a new engineering role is posted" The AI analyzes the page, identifies exactly what to monitor, and sends you browser push notifications + email alerts when conditions are met.
Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm Alex, and I built WebMonitor because I was frustrated with existing
website monitoring tools.
The problem: I wanted to track price drops on websites that aren't Amazon
(where CamelCamelCamel works great). I tried Visualping and Distill.io, but
they required me to select specific page elements with CSS selectors β
which breaks every time the site redesigns.
My solution: Let AI handle the page analysis. You just describe what you
want to track in plain English, and the AI figures out what to watch and
how to detect changes.
Under the hood, it uses Google Gemini to parse page structure and a hybrid
rule-engine + AI system for change detection β which keeps costs low while
maintaining accuracy.
I'd love your feedback on:
1. What websites would you want to monitor?
2. What check frequency matters most to you?
3. Any use cases I haven't thought of?
Happy to answer any questions! π
