Pro is optional and adds watermark-free screenshots, Circle area capture, and private cloud media storage for captures you explicitly choose to upload.

I built Web Markups because I kept needing to point something out on a webpage, capture it, and keep moving without opening a separate editor.

Web Markups lets you mark up live webpages with arrows, lines, levels, channels, and text notes before taking screenshots or short browser recordings.

A few things I cared about while building it:

- Local capture is the default

- Annotations stay local

- Recordings do not include microphone or system audio

- Cloud upload is optional and only for captures explicitly saved to Cloud

- The core local workflow is free
