Wasabi Technologies, Inc. is an object storage service provider based in the United States that sells one product, an object storage service called Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage. The company was co-founded in September 2015 by David Friend and Jeff Flowers and launched its cloud storage product in May 2017.

Wasabi's co-founders are Jeff Flowers and David Friend, co-founders of Carbonite! The main differentiators seem to be price and performance. Wasabi claims to be 6x faster than S3. Been a fan of Backblaze B2 but interesting to find Wasabi in the space now as well. Wasabi's storage pricing is cheaper ($0.0039/GB/mo. vs. $0.005/GB/mo.) but the download pricing is more expensive ($0.04/GB vs. $0.02/GB).

I have been using wasabi with Arq Backup Software. Its simple and cheaper than all the other solutions like dropbox etc

No Free Tier and No Tier less than 5$. Low redundancy (2 locations only)
