Every "hard to dismiss" alarm can be finished lying down. Wake cub uses the camera instead: squats with a depth check, punches that must retract, jogging that pauses when you stop. All on-device. A friend can also set off your alarm and pick your task. iOS.

I built this because I kept turning off Alarmy in my sleep.
That's the flaw in every "hard to dismiss" alarm — shake, maths, barcode.
Your thumb finishes the mission while the rest of you stays asleep. You
solve it, go back to bed, oversleep anyway.
Wake cub uses the camera instead. Squats get a depth check, punches have
to extend and retract, jogging pauses when your legs stop. All of it runs
on-device — no frame of video is uploaded or stored anywhere. The camera
is a sensor, not a recorder.
The part I didn't expect people to like most: a friend can set off your
alarm and choose which task you have to do to stop it. Pick squats, and
they're doing squats. You decide who's allowed to wake you.
iOS only, 16.4+. Free to download — maths, vocabulary, all ringtones and
unlimited alarms are free forever. The camera tasks are the paid tier.
It's my first app and it has zero reviews so far, so I'd genuinely rather
hear what breaks than get upvotes.
