Waddle puts yt-dlp on your Android phone, no terminal needed. You tap Share in a video app or browser, choose "Download with Waddle", pick quality and folder in a small panel, and carry on: the download runs in the background.
A few things I cared about:
Files land in a plain Waddle folder any player or file manager can see
Silent share mode: skip the panel and reuse your last folder and quality
Clip a part of a video with a slider or exact times
Nothing of its own: no accounts, servers, analytics or crash reporting
It's Android 11+, 64-bit ARM, installed as an APK from GitHub (not on Google Play). I'd love to hear which sites or features you'd want next.
