@farynaio You can disable the pop-up notifications. We label it "distraction-free" because you're able to achieve the purpose without opening any social media app. Additionally, you always have your code in front of you so you know you have to return to it.

@farynaio @oorjitchowdhary If I can keep the conversation in tab, turn off any notifications, and check the tab in my "spare time" than it's ok. I would still prefer to keep my tabs/windows for code only, but maybe I'm in minority or old school ;-) I think the purpose of it is to code more socially, publicly etc. That makes more sense to me, and it should do the job.

@chrismessina vsChat is vastly different in its approach on implementing messages by providing only one chatroom while we, on the other hand, enable 1-to-1 messaging along with groups to increase collaboration on projects.
