VQC is a lightweight desktop app for turning long video folders into clean, usable clips. Drop in a folder, review videos quickly, set In/Out points with keyboard shortcuts, save multiple clips from the same source, then export everything with FFmpeg or as a Premiere-compatible XML timeline. It’s built for creators, editors, researchers, and teams who need fast batch trimming without opening a heavy NLE for every small cut.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built VQC because I kept running into the same annoying workflow: having a folder full of long videos, needing only the useful moments, but having to open a full video editor just to make simple cuts.
VQC is designed to make that first selection pass much faster. You drop in a folder, go through videos with keyboard shortcuts, mark In/Out points, save multiple clips from the same source file, and export everything either as trimmed files through FFmpeg or as a Premiere-compatible XML timeline.
The goal is not to replace a full editor. It’s to make the boring “find and cut the good parts” stage lightweight, fast, and repeatable.
I’d love feedback from video editors, creators, researchers, and anyone who works with lots of raw footage. What would make this more useful in your workflow?
