Apple TV has no built-in WireGuard support, so We built VPNX Guard: a native WireGuard and AmneziaWG client for tvOS.
It connects straight to your own server (router, NAS, or VPS) or to a WireGuard config from your VPN provider. Handy for reaching your home network, NAS, or media library from the living room. There's no VPNX backend and no account.
What it does:
• Import a config from your iPhone: scan a QR code on the TV, then upload over your local network, with no typing on the Siri Remote
• Split Tunneling: run a full VPN, or send only selected apps through the tunnel
• Auto Connect: brings the tunnel back up whenever the Apple TV gets a network connection, including after a restart
• Live status: download/upload, public IP, and tunnel health
• Privacy: keys stay in the Keychain, with no analytics, ads, crash reporters, or logs
To be upfront: VPNX Guard is a client only and doesn't provide servers, so you'll need your own config.
