We built VPNLY because getting online privately shouldn't require an account, a credit card, or a leap of faith. Too many "free" VPNs make you trade your email and your data for access — we wanted something you could just open and use, no sign-up screen in the way. Along the way, the hardest part wasn't the encryption or the server network — it was resisting the urge to gate features behind a login just because that's the industry default. We're still refining the free tier based on what people actually need day to day, and this launch is as much about hearing what's missing as it is about announcing what's there.
