Inspired by how video was used in consumer world (TikTok, Quibi, Insta Stories) my colleagues and I got really interested in the power of short video and wondered why is wasn't really part of work life the way it was dominating our private lives. Once we figured out the barriers and how to overcome them, Voodle was born! More people are working remotely than ever before - and studies indicate that this is the new normal moving forward. Teams now need more engaging and powerful ways to stay connected, to quickly share knowledge, or celebrate meaningful moments - all things that we seemingly took for granted before Covid-19 closed offices everywhere. We see voodle as an essential part of the remote-collaboration tech stack. Text-based chatter is efficient and video conferencing provides more human connection, but oftentimes what you really need is what asynchronous short video can provide - which is the best of both worlds. Ultimately, Voodle combines the control and efficiency of Slack with the human connection and emotional context of video. I’m a General Contractor and have found Voodle to be very productive in managing my various projects. I can communicate with my employees as well as my subcontractors. We can easily resolve problems or simply ask questions. I can even separate my conversations by job if need be. I also like the flexibility of being to respond or watch when is convenient for me. I really appreciate the visual record that is created by the conversations. I can always go back a review items or details that were discussed. Voodle simply checks a lot of boxes for my company.
