A better way for kids to watch YouTube. There is a lot of great content for kids on YouTube, but it is nearly impossible to control what comes up. Visor flips the model by letting you approve the channels your kids can watch—without constantly hovering over them. The best part? No Shorts, no ads, and no algorithm rabbit holes. You can relax knowing your kids are sticking to the channels you've approved. And each week, Week in Review gives you a simple recap of their what they watched.
Thanks for checking out Visor!
This started as a project for my own family. Like many parents, I didn't want to ban YouTube... I just wanted to stop wondering what weird recommendation, Short, or random ad would come up next.
At first, I looked for settings that would do what I wanted. When I couldn't find one, I started building Visor.
My kids (8 and 12) have been using it from the start! They've been my earliest adopters, toughest critics, and the reason little details ended up the way they are today (they also aren't shy about telling me when something feels off!)
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and especially what you'd want to see in a product like this.
