@vis42 The idea of specialized agents handling different parts of the finance workflow is interesting, especially since month-end close and reporting are still so manual for many teams. How do Themis, Pluto, and Mercury coordinate with each other when one agent flags an issue that could affect reporting or cash flow forecasts?
@nicole_hynek Great question, Nicole — coordination is the hard part, and honestly the most fun part to build. The agents don't work in isolation, and they don't just share a black box — they talk to each other over A2A (agent-to-agent), passing structured artifacts rather than free text. So a flag from one agent is something the others can actually act on, not just read.
In practice: Pluto reviews every posting, and when it catches an issue it emits a structured finding over A2A. Themis picks that up and holds the affected accounts instead of treating them as final. Mercury makes sure that status is reflected in whatever goes out, so a flagged number never quietly lands in a report as if it were clean. At the end an issue caught in one place is communicated to the others automatically, and can't silently flow into the numbers.
