I built Viewport Capture because I often needed to share long webpages with AI tools, but full-page screenshots were awkward to inspect and usually too tall to work with comfortably.

Viewport Capture takes a different approach: it captures the page one viewport at a time, automatically scrolls through the page, adds a small overlap between screenshots, waits for lazy-loaded content, and downloads everything as a ZIP.

The whole flow is intentionally simple:

Right-click → Capture → ZIP.

No account, no upload, no backend. Everything is processed locally in the browser.

I’d especially love feedback on:

capture reliability across different websites
whether the overlap between screenshots feels right
pages where lazy-loaded content still fails to render in time
any edge cases I haven’t covered yet
