VidDub dubs foreign-language video with synced AI voices and translated subtitles. It works on YouTube, Bilibili, Vimeo, Khan Academy, Facebook, Douyin, VK Video, X, Google Drive, local files, TikTok, NAVER TV, Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, edX, Skillshare, MasterClass, Patreon, Substack, Bloomberg, Reuters, WSJ, Al Jazeera, Rumble, Odysee, Dzen, O’Reilly, Microsoft Learn, DeepLearning.AI, Frontend Masters, Platzi—and any site with video.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built VidDub because useful videos should not become inaccessible just because they are in another language. Subtitles help, but they also pull your attention away from the video itself.
VidDub is a Chrome extension that delivers synchronized AI dubbing with translated subtitles. The dubbed voice stays aligned when you pause, seek, replay, or change playback speed. When captions are unavailable, VidDub transcribes the video first and then dubs it.
VidDub is ready to use on:
YouTube, Bilibili, Vimeo, Khan Academy, Facebook, Douyin, VK Video, X, Google Drive, and local video files.
You can also enable it on:
TikTok, NAVER TV, Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, edX, Skillshare, MasterClass, Patreon, Substack, Bloomberg, Reuters, WSJ, Al Jazeera, Rumble, Odysee, Dzen, O’Reilly, Microsoft Learn, DeepLearning.AI, Frontend Masters, and Platzi.
And it can be enabled for any other Ibsite with video—per site, or across all sites. No API key or per-site configuration required.
VidDub is currently in free beta. I’d love to hear which video sites and languages you want us to prioritize next!
