Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Or, the founder of VidBuddy.

I've spent years writing code and years making video. Lately, making one good AI video meant picking between dozens of models, learning how to prompt each one, paying five subscriptions, and then spending hours in a timeline stitching it all together. Most of the effort went into everything except the story.

So I built VidBuddy: an AI video studio you talk to.

You tell Buddy your idea in a sentence or two (add photos, footage or a logo if you have them). Buddy writes the script, casts the characters, draws the storyboard, picks the right model for every shot, checks each take, re-shoots what's wrong, and cuts it to voice and music.

Three things we cared about:

• You approve every step. Nothing is filmed until you approve the storyboard.

• You see the price before anything is made. The script and the cast are free.

• It's not a template. It's made the way films are made: script, cast, storyboard, takes, cut.

What you can make: ads and promos, short films, animated explainers, motion graphics, shorts cut from your long videos, and your own clips with new people in them.
