I'm Chibi Vikram, and with the small team at Darthwares I built Vibit: an AI ad generator that turns a script or a one-line brief into a finished 30–60 second video ad.
What's different: most AI ad tools give you one format, a talking-head avatar or a single generated clip. Vibit runs the whole ad. It researches your product, writes the script, builds a scene-by-scene storyboard, keeps your character or product consistent across every scene, and renders cinematic footage with voice and sound. You direct the ad, you don't stitch clips together.
The GPT-6 Astra part: our research agent, Eve, runs on GPT-6 Astra. Give it a product, audience and goal, and it plans research questions, searches the web for the product and its competitors, drafts ad angles and hooks, and reviews its own work in a planner → researcher → strategist → reviewer loop until the brief passes. That research feeds the storyboard, so the ad is grounded in real facts about the brand instead of generic marketing copy.
Building on Astra during the challenge was the first time we could hand an agent a multi-step research job with web search and structured output and trust it to finish end to end. That is what let a small team ship this in weeks.
