VEYRN is free browser chess without a VEYRN account. Create an encrypted P2P room by link or connect Lichess through the official Board API and find a casual 10+0 opponent while staying on the VEYRN board. Center-locked dragging, premoves, planning arrows, country flags and mobile-first clocks make play tactile; phase timing, clock pressure, decision rhythm and PGN stay in the browser.
I built VEYRN because online chess still makes a simple game feel heavier than it should. I wanted one link, one board, and useful feedback without an account, tracker, or paywall.
Today you can create a private P2P room, send the URL, play with real clocks and country flags, then inspect behavioral stats stored locally on your device. The board was tuned for accurate dragging, contrast, mobile time controls, premoves, arrows, and a clearer end-of-game review.
This launch is deliberately early: invite-link games work now, while the public waitlist measures demand for native matchmaking. I would especially value feedback on connection time, board feel, and which statistic would genuinely help you improve.
