Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jihoon. I make Vertically Verse, and I'm here to find Android testers.

The Android build is in closed testing on Google Play. Google requires 12 opted-in testers for 14 days before I can release it to the public. Vertically Verse is a Bible reader in vertical type: characters stack top to bottom and columns run right to left. I built the interface the same way, so you read the buttons and drawers as stacked text. I set digits upright inside the column and follow each script's rules for vertical punctuation and line breaks. In the scroll layout you pull past the last column to load the next chapter.

What's inside:

• Korean 한글 킹제임스 (1994), Japanese 口語訳 and Chinese 和合本 (Traditional). You switch between them with one tap.

• Two layouts: 흐름, a continuous scroll, and 절별, a printed page with verse-number bands that you turn one row at a time.

• 묵상하기, one verse per screen. Swipe to the next verse in canon order, or turn on 랜덤 to draw from a 293-verse anthology I picked by hand.

• Serif or sans, three text sizes, and dark, sepia or light themes. Save the verses you want to keep.

• Works offline, without an account or ads. I collect no data.
