Vernix joins Zoom, Meet, Teams, and Webex calls. Connects to Slack, Linear, GitHub, and countless tools via MCP. Ask questions by voice - get answers with real business data. Transcripts, summaries, and action items happen automatically. Open source.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Tim. A few weeks ago, my friend Pauli and I competed in LotusHacks — Vietnam's largest AI hackathon. 1000+ participants. 48 hours. One question:
What if you had a colleague in every meeting who already knew everything?
Not a transcription bot. Not a note-taker. An agent that actually participates in the conversation — one that connects to your tools and answers questions with live data, during the call.
That's what we built. We demoed it live — the agent joining a call, answering questions using data from connected tools in real-time. It worked. And the idea wouldn't leave me alone.
A few weeks later, it's a real product.
What Vernix does:
- Joins Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and Webex — paste a link, 10 seconds, done
- Connects to your tools via MCP (Slack, Linear, GitHub, CRM, Notion, and more)
- Voice agent: say "Vernix" and ask anything — it answers with real data from your tools
- Silent mode: joins without audio, answers in meeting chat when mentioned
- Real-time transcription with speaker names
- Summaries and action items after every call — no manual notes
- Search across all your past meetings by meaning, not keywords
- Upload docs (PDFs, specs, SOWs) — the agent uses them for context
- Full REST API and MCP server for developers
Why it's different:
Every other meeting tool records and transcribes. That's table stakes now. Vernix connects to your actual business tools and participates in the conversation with live data. That's the gap nobody else fills.
Pricing:
- Free forever: 5 meetings/month, 30 minutes total
- Pro: €29/month (€24/month annual) — includes €30 usage credit
- 14-day free trial, no credit card
It's open source. Self-host with Docker Compose or use vernix.app.
What's next: More integrations, team workspaces, calendar sync, and a browser extension for in-meeting context without the bot.
This is a solo project built in spare time. Every upvote, comment, and piece of feedback genuinely shapes where this goes next. Thank you.
