AAC is the tool non-verbal individuals use to communicate. But legacy tools are slow (45 sec/sentence), require constant caregiver support & have a 60% abandonment rate. As a dad to a non-verbal child, I started Verbali to solve a problem we live daily. Our MaTalk AI app is: Fast: time to sentence <8 seconds. Dynamic: AI auto-suggests words, ending the caregiver "manual programming burden". Designed For All: We're the first platform built for the entire ecosystem (User, Caregiver, SLP).

Hello Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Shay, co-founder of Verbali. This is a deeply personal launch for me. My son is non-verbal, and the tools meant to give him a voice were failing .
So, why is this a problem?
It's not just "clunky tech." It's a "conversation gap."
Legacy AAC apps take 45 seconds to build a single sentence. A 45-second delay isn't "slow"—it makes real-time conversation impossible.
This lag is the "why." It leads to agonizing frustration, social isolation, and kids being "left unheard". It’s why 60% of these expensive devices are abandoned.
In school, this gap is critical: K-12 students can't show what they know, causing them to be undervalued and limiting their entire academic journey.
As a 15-year PM and a dad living this, I had to find a solution .
We built MaTalk AI to fix this "why." Our mission is to help non-verbal kids have meaningful conversations and achieve their full potential—at home, at school, and with peers. We do it by building the best AAC experience and solving for the whole ecosystem (users, parents and SLP) .
My co-founder Lori and I are here all day. Ask us anything!
