Vanta is a local AI operator for macOS that works across your projects, files, terminal, and desktop apps. Unlike chat-only assistants, it combines action with oversight: choose the right AI model, follow progress live, approve sensitive steps, and review changed files and receipts. Features include multi-provider support, local voice transcription, native desktop control, persistent sessions, and stop-and-retry controls.
The stop-and-retry controls are a great safety net, but it would be even more useful if I could save and replay full agent sessions later, especially ones that worked well on similar tasks. A small library of past runs with the prompts and files involved would save a lot of rework.
