VanityFilter smooths skin in recorded video and leaves everything else alone. It finds up to five faces per frame, including profiles, masks each person separately and treats only face, forehead and neck skin, so eyes, lips, hair, clothing and background stay as shot. Controls cover texture, shine, redness and blemishes, with a live preview that matches the export. Version 3.1.5 adds saved projects and adjustable lip, brow and ear protection. Processing stays offline. One-time license.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm So Fain, the maker of VanityFilter.
I run YouTube channels, and skin cleanup kept turning into the same slow detour: open the editor, build masks, protect eyes and hair, check every shot, then wait on the export. I built VanityFilter to move that work out of the timeline.
Drop in a clip, pick a preset or tune the mask, and export a cleaned-up file before you start editing. It finds up to five faces in the frame and treats only their skin, so eyes, lips, hair and the background come out as shot. It runs on your own computer. Footage is never uploaded, activation works offline, and the license is a one-time payment.
A lot has changed since 2.0, most of it from using the app on my own footage:
Blemish Removal repairs small spots before smoothing runs, alongside separate controls for shine and redness.
Protect eyelids and adjustable lip and brow margins keep smoothing off the features that should stay crisp.
Ignore small faces keeps framed photos and tiny background faces out of the mask.
Projects save your clips, settings and preview position, so you can close a job and pick it up later.
The LAUNCH code takes $5 off the full license, bringing it to $24.95.
I'd especially like feedback from editors and YouTube creators: where does skin cleanup slow you down, and what would make this fit your workflow better?
