I downloaded more than 20 expense-sharing apps, hoping to find one that did everything I needed. Every app got some things right, but none felt complete for real-life trips, roommates, or group events. So I stopped searching and built VAKKA—the app I always wished existed. It’s the result of countless real experiences and continuous feedback from people who shared the same frustrations.
A simple way to add receipts directly from a photo would be amazing, with the app auto-reading the total and splitting items by who ordered what. Most groups lose track of paper receipts on trips, so this would save a lot of manual entry.
@kamil295722 Thanks, Kamil! I completely agree, that’s one of those features that can make a huge difference in real life. It’s actually why VAKKA includes receipt scanning already: trips are chaotic, receipts get lost, and nobody wants to manually type every item.
