@1251912798 Great point, Gary. V2Fun is closer to a fast concepting and pre-production workflow today, rather than fully production-ready for every use case.
The scale answer in the manufacturing thread above matters for the 3D printing side too. Watertight is one thing, but print people also need millimeters, a 28mm mini and a 200mm display piece are completely different jobs and the slicer wants real dimensions. If everything lands on a generic normalized scale, can you set a reference height before export, or is that a resize in the slicer for now? Congrats on the launch 👏

@dai_sheen Thank you so much! For now, you'll need to set the desired height directly inside your slicing software. However, we completely understand how crucial this is for 3D printing. We are already working on a feature that will let you set specific physical dimensions—like 6cm, 8cm, or 12cm—directly on V2Fun before you export. How consistent are the generated textures across different viewing angles? That has been one of the biggest issues I’ve noticed with similar tools.

@blink_66 This is indeed a classic pain point with 3D generative AI. To solve this, we strictly align our textures with the original reference image. Additionally, we’ve developed a multi-view texturing approach that generates and projects textures from multiple angles, which directly addresses and resolves the issue of multi-view consistency.
Nice launch! How does the motion capture perform when the source video is recorded with a phone rather than a studio camera?

@orman_canida That is actually exactly what we designed it for! You don't need a professional studio camera at all. Our single-camera algorithm is highly optimized to extract high-precision 3D motion from ordinary phone videos. For the best results, just keep the phone relatively stable, make sure the person's entire body is visible in the frame, and ensure decent lighting. As long as those basics are covered, you can easily shoot a quick clip on your phone and watch your character bring it to life!
motion capture from a regular video is the part that removes a tool, not just adds one. does it hold up on messy footage, two people or occlusion?

@andrewzakonov It actually holds up remarkably well! For occlusion, our AI predicts and interpolates hidden joints to keep the motion fluid even when a limb is temporarily blocked. When it comes to messy footage with multiple people, our latest update includes a feature that lets you manually select a specific target subject in the video. This allows the pipeline to ignore background noise and extract clean motion data solely from the person you chose.
