Currently, our generated models are conceptually mid-poly, and the platform includes a built-in retopology feature that supports quad-mesh generation and decimation. For quickly validating your ideas, our automatic AI rigging and skinning for humanoids lets you see animations in action instantly. However, if you are aiming for production-grade quality, we also support a hybrid workflow: you can upload your own optimized, custom-topologized, and skinned models using standard skeleton naming conventions (such as SMPL or ARP). You can then use our platform to run motion retargeting directly on your custom mesh for the best possible results!
Congrats on the launch! For the AI motion capture output, does the rig map to standard skeletons like Unity's Humanoid or Unreal's Mannequin, or is it a custom rig you'd need to retarget before using it in an engine?

For stylized characters, yes—the automated rigging works perfectly out of the box as long as they are humanoid. We don't support non-humanoids (like quadrupeds) just yet, but that is actively on our roadmap and will be supported in upcoming releases.

the fragmentation pitch makes sense but the part I keep coming back to is IP risk - if someone prompts for a character that's clearly "inspired by" an existing game or anime design, does V2Fun do anything to flag that, or is the output just whatever the model gives you and the user is on their own for clearing rights before using it commercially? feels like a real question for the game dev crowd specifically

@galdayan Great point. This is a massive challenge across the entire Gen AI industry right now. To address this, we are actively building a dedicated IP infringement firewall system to help mitigate these exact risks. We'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on what would work best for the game dev community!
@pan_ji1 Good to hear it's already in the works. One suggestion: rather than a hard block, surface a similarity score plus the closest matching known IP before the user commits to using the output commercially - that way you're not guessing at intent, you're just giving people the information to make their own call. A hard block risks false positives on genuinely original designs that just share a style, but silently letting through something that's 95% a reskin of an existing character with no flag at all is the worse failure mode for the game dev community specifically, since that's exactly the crowd most likely to ship commercially.

Hi! Quick question, just curios to know can this be used for creating 3 schematics not for games per se, but for infographics for pitch decks etc, like professional grade minimalistic with proper color theme, minimal 3d like lines diagram style?

@shekhar_upadhaya_1 While V2Fun is primarily built for creating production-ready 3D assets, many users also generate clean, stylized models for presentations, product concepts, and visualization. We’d love to support more design-oriented workflows in the future as well.
honestly the all-in-one thing is super appealing since i usually bounce between blender and some mocap app. one thing that would help a lot is a built-in export to common game engine formats like FBX with proper rig and LOD setup, because right now i still have to clean things up in third party tools before i can drop assets into unity or unreal.

To make this workflow even smoother, V2Fun supports a two-way pipeline. If you make edits in Blender or other third-party tools at any stage, you can easily re-upload your model to our platform for further processing.
For rigging, you can directly upload models configured with standard bone structures (we currently support popular naming conventions like SMPL, SMPL-X, and ARP (Auto-Rig Pro)). Once uploaded, you can use our built-in motion retargeting feature to seamlessly map any motion captured from your video directly onto your custom rig.
