Hi there 👋 I initially created a book about React Hooks, but quickly I realized an interactive course was a better medium. I have met some React developers who are reluctant to start using hooks because of the problems they can cause. But I’ve also met a lot who use hooks but don’t fully understand how they work. As a result, they spend a lot of time debugging and don’t always know why the final code works. With useEffect.dev, I had the ambition to make hooks more accessible to all React developers. They have a learning curve, but it’s totally worth it because hooks are amazing! They offer great patterns and will make your components much cleaner and easy to maintain. I wanted the course to be interactive, meaning that most examples can be run without leaving your browser. Even better, each lesson includes exercises that you can solve directly in an embedded code editor. This way, you can focus on learning instead of installing and updating a local environment.
