"Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the creator of Unshipped. As developers, we all have that folder on our drive: projects/old/v3-final-final. These are projects we spent months on, obsessed over the architecture, and eventually abandoned. Usually, these projects just gather digital dust. I built Unshipped because I realized that some of the most interesting engineering happens in projects that never ship. The 'happy path' of production apps is well-documented, but the technical experiments that hit a dead end are often where the real lessons are hidden. Unshipped is a museum for these projects. It’s a place to study high-performance C++, novel Haskell type systems, and ambitious distributed engines that were 'too complex' for their own good. I'd love to hear your feedback on the archive! Unshipped concept is great, a graveyard for unfinished projects sounds oddly relatable as a developer 😄

I really like the concept of turning abandoned side projects into something discoverable instead of letting them disappear forever. This could lead to some interesting forks, collaborations, and hopefully some unexpected revivals. Looking forward to digging through projects and seeing what people decide to build on top of.
