Paste any URL and instantly see how it looks when shared on Twitter/X, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, iMessage, LinkedIn, Google, and more — in realistic previews. Most debuggers show raw metadata. Unfurl shows what your audience actually sees: the card, bubble, or search result, in context. → Previews across social, chat, and search → Inspect Open Graph, Twitter Card, and JSON-LD → Warnings for broken or missing tags → Export previews as high-res PNG → Native macOS: drag URLs, Services, Shortcuts
Hey PH! 👋
I built Unfurl because I missed an app.
On Linux I used Share Preview — a small tool that shows you how a URL looks when shared on social media. Simple, useful, exactly the kind of app you don't notice until it's gone. When I started switching back and forth between my Linux and Mac machines, I kept reaching for it on macOS and finding nothing.
So I built my own. Native SwiftUI, built for me first. It ended up feeling really at home on macOS — drag URLs from your browser, use it from the Services menu, hook it into Shortcuts. The kind of thing you keep in your menubar and forget is even there until you need it.
If you live between platforms, care about how your links look before they go out, or just like well-crafted small Mac apps — I think you'll like Unfurl.
Happy to answer any questions! 🙏
