Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Steven, maker of Umadeit.
If you're self-employed in Canada, tax time usually means a shoebox of receipts, a guess at your kilometres, and a scramble to figure out which T2125 line everything goes on. Most bookkeeping apps are built for US users or for accountants.
Umadeit is an iPhone app that keeps invoices, receipts, mileage and expenses together through the year, maps categories to T2125 lines, tracks GST/HST (collected minus ITCs) and CCA assets, and produces an annual report you can hand to your accountant. Bank data comes in via CSV import — no bank login. There's also a Web Workbench for a bigger screen.
To be clear: it doesn't file your taxes, and it covers GST/HST, not PST/QST.
Free tier includes 5 invoices a month. AI Pro is in beta — I'd love feedback from freelancers, contractors and gig drivers on what's missing.
