Turn any website into an AI-ready design brief

UIDrop reads the full design system of any live webpage in one click β colors, fonts, spacing, shadows, radii, gradients, and component specs. One click opens Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Manus or even Cursor with a structured brief pre-loaded and the screenshot attached. Your AI starts building immediately. Works on any site. No setup. No accounts. No cloud. Runs entirely in your browser. Open source.

hey everyone, Tudor here β I made UIDrop
honestly the reason I built this is pretty simple. I kept finding sites I wanted to draw inspiration from, and every tool I tried just... stopped halfway.
ColorZilla gives you a hex. WhatFont tells you the typeface. CSS Peeper dumps a panel of values at you. Cool, but then what? You still have to open Claude, manually type out "the primary color is #635BFF, the font is Inter, the radius is 8px" β and by the time you're done you've lost the vibe you were trying to capture in the first place.
no extension I found actually closed the loop. they all hand you data and peace out.
so UIDrop just does the whole thing. reads the design system, packages it into a structured brief, and drops it straight into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Lovable, even Manus, with the screenshot already attached. your AI sees what you saw. you don't type anything.
it took me a while to get the color logic right β figuring out what's actually the "primary" on a site vs what's just a status dot or a customer logo is genuinely hard β but I think it's in a good place now.
anyway, it's free, fully open source on Github as well, nothing leaves your browser. would love to know what sites you snap it on and where it gets things wrong β I'm still actively fixing edge cases

@tudorp06Β Really great idea. I could also see using it to build a portfolio of ideas to help clients who donβt know what they want when they come to you for design work.
@mabnolaΒ First of all, thank you! And yes! The upcoming 1.2.0 version has an integrated Snap library, that gives you a moodboard of all the previous sites you've extracted, side-by-side comparisons, beautiful analytics of most used fonts, Figma, Canva tokens etc. All of that for a 2$ lifetime price. When the update is up, I'll let you know, maybe you end up using it for your portfolio building!
