Hey everyone! 👋 I built type-motion because I kept running into the same wall: I needed animated text for logos, social content, and portfolios, but every time I opened After Effects, I'd lose an hour just setting up a timeline before I even got to the fun part. Motion typography is genuinely powerful — it makes a static wordmark or headline feel alive — but the tooling for it has always assumed you already know motion design. I wanted something that skipped straight to "upload your type, pick a motion, export," no timeline, no keyframes. I built the first version for myself, then tested it with a handful of designers and content creators to see if it actually held up outside my own use case. That's shaped a lot of what's in v1 — from letting people type text directly (not just upload SVGs) to keeping the export formats flexible (WebM, MP4, GIF) so it fits into whatever workflow people already have. This is still early, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think — what's missing, what's confusing, what you'd use it for. 🙏
