Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built TypeLang because I speak Spanish but work daily with English-speaking teammates, and tools like Google Translate produce stiff, word-for-word English that doesn't sound like something a native speaker would actually write. The idea was simple: hit a shortcut from anywhere, type in your language, and get a natural translation pasted directly where you were writing — no switching tabs, no copy-pasting into a browser. It's BYOK (bring your own API key) — plug in Claude, GPT, or Gemini, or run it fully local with LM Studio/Ollama if you don't want anything leaving your machine. It's also fully open source under MIT. Still early and macOS-only for now (Windows/Linux on the roadmap).
