Three skills worth practicing early: waiting, saving and acting on your own. Twiggly turns everyday tasks into practice for all three. Kids earn points and save them toward a reward the family picks together, so they feel the wait and the payoff. Parents can offer a choice: two tasks, the child picks one, the other goes away. Kids can also ask for a task or take on jobs that are up for grabs. Short tips tell parents why it matters at their child's age. No ads, no tracking. Free trial. Android.

Hi Product Hunt.
I'm a Finnish father of two. I built Twiggly for my own family use, and then got very much carried away…
We live in an instant-gratification culture and I think a lot about how my children will turn out in it. Everything is built to reward instantly now: the next video, the next level, the next notification, the next dopamine hit. Not many things in today's world ask them to wait and keep working on something that is not fun yet.
I also believe that, to some extent, we should try to push against the doom-scrolling current. I want my children to learn patience and follow-through and be able to carry it into their adult lives. I also know that both are trainable. The research on delayed gratification has said so for a long time: a child who can wait for something better tends to do better later on.
So I decided to use everyday tasks as a practice ground. Not because chores would matter so much by themselves, but because they are the one daily thing where children can do something, stay patient, and finally earn. At first it became a small app for our own kids. Now, not so small anymore. I did the first mock-ups in early 2025, and well, here we are.
I'm curious whether other parents feel the same worry, and what you do about it at home.
