How do you pick which songs to rewrite each day, and is there any way to suggest tracks or genres I want to see more of?
@erdileylak I have a library of hundreds of the most popular and recognizable songs, but I'm hoping to add different game modes where I can include less popular, more genre-specific songs for people that know specific genres really well. Thank you for checking out my game!
How do you handle songs where the rewritten title ends up being the same word or just one letter off? Genuinely curious if there's some kind of difficulty toggle or if it's pure luck on those days.
@kader318743 I try to make them as different as possible, but some songs are hard to change entirely, so something I'll leave in main words like "the", "of", "for" and other stuff like that. And no, there's no difficulty toggle. It's hard to quantify what would be difficult for one person, and easy for another person. A "hard" mode I've thought about implementing is not including the genre and decade pill at the top of each song. Maybe. I'll add that. Thanks so much for trying it out!
How do you pick the songs each day, is it genre locked or random across the whole library?
@ahinonom I have a library of hundreds of handpicked songs that are randomized over the course of 120 days. The days are randomized in a way to avoid too many songs within one genre getting featured in one day. The goal is to make it feel random and intentional at the same time
the synonym rewrites are genuinely clever, not just lazy thesaurus swaps. love that it's a quick daily ritual instead of trying to be some bloated gaming platform.
synonyms for song titles is such a clever idea, tried today's batch and got stumped on two of them but it felt satisfying to crack the rest
