Free, open-source extension for Firefox and Chrome. It turns your Tumblr likes into a heatmap calendar — click a day to jump to what you liked then — and now lets you search your likes by tag. Runs locally in your browser: no API key, no account, no tracking.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm the maker of Tumblr Likes Calendar. I built it to scratch my own itch: I had more than 10,000 likes on Tumblr and no way to find anything in them. Tumblr lets you like posts but gives you no search and no filter, so finding something you saved months ago means endless scrolling.
So I made a small extension that adds a GitHub-style heatmap calendar to your Tumblr likes page: each day is shaded by how much you liked that day, and clicking a day jumps straight to the likes from that date. The latest version also lets you search your likes by tag — type a tag (or pick one of your most-used ones) and get every like that has it, each with a thumbnail and a link to the post.
A few things I cared about:
- It runs entirely in your browser, using Tumblr's own in-page fetch helper and your existing session — no API key, no account, no external server.
- Nothing is collected or tracked; your data is cached locally (IndexedDB).
- Free and open source (GPLv3).
It's available for both Firefox and Chrome. I'd love your feedback and ideas for what to add next (a thumbnail gallery, image export and reverse image search are on my list).
