Hey Product Hunt — I built Tuhat because most blogging platforms have quietly become engagement engines: short posts, infinite scroll, push notifications, recommendation feeds. The writing got worse. Tuhat is the opposite. The name means 1,000 in Finnish, and that's the rule: every post must be at least 1,000 words to publish. A soft tax on shallowness — if you have something worth saying, say it properly. A few things I'm proud of: Public blog pages are pure HTML. No JavaScript, no trackers, no analytics beacons. They load in well under 100ms and RSS works the way it always should have. You own the address. Custom themes, custom CSS — your blog should look like yours, not like everyone else's. Letters, not comments. Readers can write the author a private letter — no public pile-ons in your replies. Both sides have to agree before a letter becomes public; either side can revoke. The dynamic ends up more like correspondence than commentary. Zero-tolerance on spam. Use Tuhat to send unsolicited mail and the account goes. It's a one-person project and free for writers.
