When creating my YouTube channel, I wanted to notify my community in Discord. It was surprisingly complicated to do, even with a paid bot like Mee6, it just was... sub-par.
Notifications would fire off without any context, livestream notification? Video posted. Livestream scheduled? Video posted. Edited a video? Video posted. So I built the first version of TubeHook. It turns messy YouTube activity into clean, categorized events.

Hey Product Hunt π
I built TubeHook because YouTube automation still feels harder than it should.
A new YouTube upload is usually the start of a bigger workflow: notifying a team, updating a content database, triggering n8n/Make/Zapier, posting to Discord/Slack, or kicking off AI repurposing.
TubeHook makes that simple:
β Connect a YouTube channel
β Add a webhook destination
β Send clean video events when new uploads are detected
β View delivery logs so you know what actually happened
Itβs built for creators, teams, developers, agencies, and automation builders who want YouTube to plug into the rest of their stack.
This is the first public version, so Iβd genuinely love feedback, feature requests, bug reports, weird use cases, brutal honesty, all of it.
Thanks for checking it out.

Ive got this installed on my discord, as soon as I uploaded to YouTube even the short, it put it in discord for me!
