i like this idea but when i forking your repo and try to start a blog, the dashboard dont recognize my repo (i clone your blog repo for test) @quantdaddy
Suraj Keshri
@rafaeldellaquila Would you mind sharing the repo? It must have truegit.yaml file for it to recognize it.
Rafael Dell'Aquila
@quantdaddy Yep, this is the repo https://github.com/rafaeldellaqu... i literally cloned your repo
Suraj Keshri
@rafaeldellaquila Sorry about this. Can you try reinstalling the Github app? I'm facing the same issue myself and I can quite figure out the bug. Sorry again, it's must be frustrating.
Rafael Dell'Aquila
@quantdaddy I will try and don't worry about that. We are all programmers. I will try again.
Rafael Dell'Aquila
@quantdaddy Now its works fine!

Looks awesome! Is it possible to import existing content in bulk (migrate from existing blog), or does it need to be recreated one by one?
Suraj Keshri
@torsten_p Yup you can do it all at once. Just need to put all the posts in a repo. You can read more details here: https://docs.truegit.io

Hey Hunters, our mission behind building Truegit is to give the full ownership of content to publishers and yet provide them a platform to grow their audience. Truegit allows you to manage your content just like code in a Github Repository. You can collaborate on your posts through Pull Requests and other excellent Github code collaboration features. Every Pull Request is deployed in a preview link and the production branch goes live. Existing social publishing platforms like Medium, Hashnode, and dev.to provide you the audience but you don't have full ownership of the content. Although they allow you to export your content, the source of truth lives in their database so you are forced to use their platform to manage your content. This makes it difficult to collaborate on your content as well. On the other hand, there are platforms like Ghost.js, Wordpress and more that give you the ownership but do not provide a social platform to gain an audience. Truegit is the first platform that gives you full ownership of your content. You can customize everything about your blog like title, banner, logo etc from a single configuration file. Your post's content and metadata also lives in the markdown file. We are working on launching the social features of the platform like likes, comments, following a blog and more very soon but until then we are hoping to get some feedback from the community to improve the publishing experience. To start a blog, you can simply fork this repository (https://github.com/Kollate/trueg...), install the Github App (https://github.com/apps/truegit-app), and give it access to that repository, and finally create your account on Truegit. Please read the docs for more detail https://docs.truegit.io/ For a limited time, you can get all premium features like custom domain free forever. Be warned, this product requires some knowledge of Git and Github collaboration to get full value.
